Reflecting on an Amazing Year at Pro Bike Supply
As we look back on 2024, it’s clear that this year has been nothing short of memorable at Pro Bike Supply. We’ve had the pleasure of introducing fantastic new products and bikes, creating amazing memories, and sending out countless custom bikes that have brought joy to our customers. Let’s dive into some of the highlights of this incredible year!
Fox Innovations
Fox made significant strides in the suspension market, unveiling an updated lineup of forks and shocks that have set new industry standards. Their wireless shock technology, Live Valve Neo, was a game-changer, alongside the introduction of their first wireless dropper post. The limited-release dreamy podium gold forks caught the attention of enthusiasts everywhere, showcasing Fox's updated fork line up with a completely new 32 as well as updated dampers across their fork line up. This as also accompanied by a revised shock line up with incredible damping characteristics.
Sram's Game-Changing Brakes
Sram introduced their newest braking system, Maven, which quickly came to the forefront as one o the top options for all out stopping power for those that want and need it. These brakes were a new approach to the one component we all take for granted. With a much stiffer 4 bolt caliper design, increased pad surface area, larger master cylinder, as well as move over to mineral oil, these brakes will stop you on a dime, and the launch edition red splatter Mavens are sure to become one of those iconic MTB components.
Specialized's Purpose-Driven Bikes
Specialized also made headlines this year with the launch of the Epic 8, Epic 8 Evo, and the highly capable Stumpjumper 15. Each of these bikes exemplifies Specialized's dedication to purposeful design and execution. The new Genie shock, now featured on many Specialized mountain bikes , represents a significant leap forward in air shock technology, enhancing performance and ride quality across their lineup. It’s no wonder these bikes quickly solidified their positions at the top of the market, delivering exceptional capabilities for riders of all levels.
Ibis’s Innovative Designs
Ibis made waves with revisions to their legendary Ripley and Ripmo models. This year, they (quietly) announced a groundbreaking development: both bikes would share front and rear triangles, allowing riders to switch between them with just a few parts and an afternoon in the garage. With new shocks and different linkage designs, Ibis increased the capability of these beloved models while maintaining their renowned uphill prowess. This innovative approach has kept Ibis at the forefront of mountain bike design, appealing to a broad spectrum of riders.
Welcoming New Brands
At Pro Bike Supply, we also made significant strides by expanding our brand offerings. We proudly welcomed two Spanish brands, Mondraker and Orbea, both of which have made notable impacts in the e-bike and mountain bike markets. These brands are quickly gaining traction in North America, known for their impressive range of e-bikes with various motor options, travel figures, and MTB types. Our demos have shown that these bikes are becoming local favorites in Southern California, and we’re excited to offer them to our customers.
