Find Your Perfect Ride: Why You Should Demo a Bike

Imagine a place where you can try the latest and greatest bikes, almost completely free of cost, and really take the time to find your perfect next ride, component, or upgrade. That's exactly how we aim to operate our demo program at Pro Bike Supply.

We love riding bikes and pride ourselves in offering the best selection of bikes and parts. But at the end of the day, as riders we have different opinions on suspension kinematics, fit, ride quality, and more. That's why we urge all people who come into our shop to demo a few bikes and want our demo program to come at essentially no cost to you.

Demos are $100 per day, but all the money you spend on demos goes right back into your bike shop piggy bank. Ready to pull the trigger on a new bike or upgrade? You can apply your credit to ANY purchase over $500 or use it as you choose once you hit that $500 threshold. It’s up to you whether you go for a new brake setup, bike overhaul, or a full dream rig. Telling your significant other about this piggy bank is also fully up to you ;)

• New Shimano XTR: Long awaited, Shimano XTR shines bright on some of our demo bikes. Crisp and direct shifting pairs perfectly with snappy, powerful brakes and light wheels. Perfection takes time, and XTR is pretty dang close!

Demo Program Rules and Procedures

Ready to try one of these incredible machines? Here’s what you need to know:

• Booking: To book a demo, give us a call at 855-777-BIKE (2453), email us at service@probikesupply.com, or click HERE. All demos need to be booked at least one day in advance.

• Bike Setup: All demo bikes are set up by pros for you and your riding weight and preferences. If you have a specific request, like a different stem length, moto brake setup, etc., let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

• Demo Period: Demos are for up to two days. Bikes are ready for pickup the morning of your reservation and are due back by the end of the following day. Demos picked up on Saturdays are due back Monday.

• Cost: The demo fee is applied to your shop account to be used towards any purchase of $500 or more.

• Security Deposit: A $4000 security deposit is required at pickup. This is an authorization, not a charge, on any major credit card. A physical card must be present at time of demo pick up.

• Liability Waiver: A liability waiver must be completed before you can take the bike.

• Local Trails Only: Demos are for our local Orange County trails only and cannot be transported to bike parks or outside of the county. Ask us for trail recommendations!

• What's Included: We provide the bike and pedals based on your preference. We do not provide tools, helmets, or any personal protective equipment.

• Crash Policy: You are responsible for any damage that occurs to the bike. We'll be reasonable and will likely just charge the wholesale price for replacement parts and labor. Most repair costs can also be applied to a future bike purchase.
