2025: Top Rated Products
2025 was a year filled with loads of dream bikes, plenty of riding on new and exciting products, and helping you get the best products on your bike. We are excited for 2026, but want to take a moment to look through our year so far, recap our favorite products and re-live some of our best moments.
So, from forks to cleats, here are some of our favorites:
One of our highest volume products, and also one of very few products used unanimously by every employee here, Outbound Lights - specifically the Portal Helmet Light and The Trail EVO Bar light. These have proven to be the go to lights for night riding. You can tell Outbound operates with purpose and with 1 clear goal, “to create the best lights for mountain biking.” Their product, light dispersion, and customer support have blown the competition out of the water.
Fox dropped some new shocks, seat posts, and forks this year, but the new 36 was the fork that seemed to really find its place with our rider crowd. Highlighted perfectly on Arin’s Ibis “Riplo” build, the 36 got lighter and somehow more stiff, and it’s actually something that you can feel, not just some marketing wording. Fumpa Mini Inflator
When these mini compressors hit shelves we were all a little skeptical… was it really needed when so many of us here at the shop ride with little more than a small multitool and a single C02? Fumpa answered those questions directly for us. With a built in gauge, plenty of battery for many inflations, and lack of effort to use, we saw many of us transition to using these. From the go to in car pump, to the perfect riding pack hero, we’ve come to really like this Mini+ Inflator.
Bikes:
The 2 bikes that stood out for us this year and consistently duked it out for our top selling spot were the Specialized Levo 4 and the Yeti LTe. Two bikes that are at the top of their game and loved by almost everyone that throws a leg over them (Book a demo for both bikes here).
The LTe has solidified itself as our go to aggressive riding E-MTB. The traction on steep loose terrain has made this bike incredibly popular for our local riding. It stays true to Yeti’s design philosophy and shines at race speed. There have been almost no times since we added our Large and Medium LTe to the Demo fleet that they have not been out on the trails. Watch more.
I spent the better part of 6 months riding the new Levo as my personal bike and can’t thank it enough for enabling me to take on some of the longest and biggest adventure days that I have ever had on the bike. Seriously, the fast charge feature, massive removable / interchangeable battery, and very easy user interface set this bike in a class of its own for taking on huge mile days. This big mile capability leads us perfectly into one of our top moments of 2025. It all started with 1 question from Mark right after the bikes came out, “How many times do you think you could ride in 1 day with the fast charger?”
“Well, let’s all take new Levos up to Santa Cruz next weekend and see how much we can ride everyday.” This sentenced prompted our shop Santa Cruz trip. We were able to transform a 3 day riding trip into a monster adventure totaling over 18 hours of riding and over 24k feet of total descending. Seriously, we spent 32% of the trip riding and wouldn’t change a thing.

DJI Avinox
This year you asked a lot of questions. Do you want to know the number 1 topic by leaps and bounds? “Tell me more about the DJI Avinox Drive System.” With its truly visceral and insane raw power, this motor climbed its way past every other motor on the market in terms of rider interest. Then, when you pair this with a limited run of Crestline RS181 frames, you get a platform that made for many of our most drool worthy dream builds from this year.
Moving more to the drop bar side of things… in 2024 Sram launched its new Red groups which laid the frame work of the new Force and Rival kits to come. Then this year, they dropped those kits and it’s safe to say that they did not disappoint. The light braking actuation and shape of the hoods made both of these group sets the go to choice for gravel and road riders alike. The addition of 13spd XPLR offerings for both, solidified Sram as the go to for almost all of our gravel builds in 2025.
When I asked around the shop for other favorite products, Austin yelled out, “Specialized Turbo tires.” And I couldn’t help but respond, “REALLY?!”
Austin is a much more accomplished rider than I, so I’ll let him explain, “dude, there may be other tires that are slightly faster in a straight line, but for racing and technical riding, nothing feels like these. The shape of the tire makes changing direction and the transfer from the center to the shoulder really secure. It’s tough to explain, but really cool to feel.”
Finally, the cheapest item that just so happened to be my favorite of this year - Shimano’s new CL-MT001 Cleat. This is THE BEST UPGRADE that you can make for any Shimano SPD compatible pedal. It allows riders to clip in from any direction and makes sketchy remounts and foot plants easy. I can rave on and on, so read this if you want to know more ;)
