29″ Wheels / 130mm Rear / 140mm Front
The Rascal lives up to its name- it is a sleek looking machine that is mischievously fast, nimble, and adept. Think capability and playfulness in both ascend and full send mode. Revel's vision for the Rascal was to deliver a confidence-inspiring and ultra-versatile mountain bike in all applications. The Canfield Balance Formula is the heart of every Revel bike, which maximizes the amount you pedal in the sweet spot. The Rascal is a fast and capable mountain bike in a sleek package that you can ride every day, regardless of terrain.
At Revel Bikes, their goal is making the absolute best full suspension mountain bikes in the world. To do this, they are the only company using the mostly unheard of, yet legendary CBF suspension design. They use incredible carbon layup technology developed by Jason Schiers, the original founder of ENVE. They obsess over all the details because we love riding good bikes even more than making them.
CBF Suspesion Design
CBF™ focuses on designing rear suspension around the Center of Curvature (CC). Until now, most suspension systems have focused solely on the instant center. CBF points the chainline and corresponding drive forces around the top of the chainring through 100-percent of the travel resulting in maximum pedaling efficiency, regardless of where you are in the travel, what terrain you are on or what kind of power you’re putting down. All the power you put into the pedals goes into turning the rear wheel, allowing the suspension to do its job completely independent of drivetrain and braking forces and making the sag setting much less critical. When we first rode the largely-unknown CBF system, we knew it was something special, and we knew we could make the best riding carbon mountain bikes using this magical formula.

Geometry & Sizing
The Rascal has a few unique geometry features, and the second you hop on this bike you’ll feel that it wants to go fast, uphill and down. Long and not too low, slack but stable. The short stays and ability to run a 130mm fork for speedy, more aggressive pedaling stance or a 140mm fork for a more balanced and capable ride, the Rascal will constantly surprise you.
My new bike arrived in the toughest bike box I've ever seen. No scratches or dings from shipping across the country. Due to the COVID-19 delays in the bike industry, my bike did arrive about 4 weeks late. But, Arin from customer service answered every nagging email I could throw at him and was polite and professional the entire way through the wait. My new shred sled is amazing (Revel Rascal) and I probably got mine about a month or two faster than if I had ordered straight from the manufacturer. Thanks everyone!
