  • Great Tire

Posted by Stealth Bomber on 26th Feb 2013

I have found this to be one of the best tires I've used. Great tire for the rocks and scrabble of Arizona. I hit the ride areas throughout the State (Phoenix, Sedona, Prescott, Tucson, and Flagstaff). This tire is suited for all those areas. Relatively light, good rolling resistance, good traction, wears well - it's got it all.

I find the high volume 2.1 sufficient even in the rock gardens and haven't felt the *need* to throw a 2.3 on the front - but will try that this summer.

  • Rockin' da Roll

I've been riding these through the summer here in NM, AZ (Sedona), Moab and Colorado High Country. Can't say enough about how well these tires perform. I raced and rode on Schwalbe RR but they wore out in no time. YTeah they are light but didn't have near as much side grip as these bad bois. I'll gladely put up with a little extra weight for how well these perform.

    Second set coming up!

  • Best 650B tires

Posted by Az Rider on 17th Oct 2012

Live in Arizona and find these to be the best combination of weight, rolling resistance, and traction for the rocks and hardpack out here. This is my second set - so glad I found them on Pro Bike Supply. The Nevegals that I had before were almost useless for the type of riding I do out here.

After some initial seeping the Pacenti's perform admirably as a tubeless tire as well.

  • Best 650B tire so far

Posted by Hernan on 6th Sep 2012

They have a decent weight, lots of grip; very good for aggressive riding and they can be used tubeless. I currently have these tires in my bike 2.35 in the front and 2.1 in the back and I am very happy

  • The perfect 650b tire (at least for my needs)

Posted by danK on 3rd Aug 2012

I'm a huge fan of Kirk Pacenti's tires; the 2.3 Neo Moto is awesome, but a bit heavy and overkill for my trails during summer riding. The 2.1 version is spot-on perfect! High volume, relatively light and great traction at any lean angle. Tried the Racing Ralph 2.25 which is a lighter tire but the 2.1 Neo Moto has a ton more traction on the side knobs. I'll switch back to the 2.3 Neo up front during the winter when I hit a lot of rock gardens (literally).
